Sellentum aims to make its marketing site, merchant dashboard and embedded shopper experiences usable by as many people as possible, including people who rely on assistive technologies.
We are working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our target. This is a goal we build against — it is not a claim of full certified conformance at this stage of the product.
We use semantic HTML and ARIA roles for key controls, keyboard-operable dialogs and menus, visible focus states, and text alternatives for meaningful imagery. Colour and contrast are considered in both light and dark presentations of the widget.
We check keyboard operability (tab order, focus traps in dialogs, skip-to-content), screen-reader labelling of interactive controls, logical focus order, colour-contrast in light and dark widget themes, and programmatic labels on form fields. These checks are run as part of feature work; automated and manual coverage is expanding toward the AA target.
As an MVP, we have not yet completed a formal third-party WCAG audit, and some dashboard tools and data-dense views may not fully meet AA in every state. We treat reported accessibility barriers as bugs and prioritise fixes.
If you encounter a barrier using Sellentum, email hello@sellentum.com with the page or experience, the assistive technology or browser you were using, and what happened. We will acknowledge the report and work to resolve it.
